What happens when a penguin sets off on its own and goes to the mountains?
In 2019, I saw Werner Herzog's film Encounters at the End of the World. Since then, I have been thinking about the question over and over again in a series of paintings:
What if a penguin sets off on its own and set off for the mountains.
Inspired by Werner Herzog's cinematic exploration of Antarctica, the artist invites us to re-imagine the boundaries of our own existence and consider the profound implications of venturing into uncharted territories.
